I remember that lull between when obamao was elected and when he was sworn in with a koran. There was none of this naysayer crap, we lost, it sucked, and we got over it.

The leftist just can’t help themselves. They sound like not only do they have sour grapes, not just a stem of them, not even just one entire vine of sour grapes, but an entire vineyard of it with nothing but a bad whine to show for it.

In a small way I’m kinda embarrassed for them because it makes them look and sound so petty and small-minded. They should just go to bed and wake up in 8 years if this is the best they can do.

And how exactly is this guy qualified to offer any meaningful opinion on the subject?

Oh, he’s a lefty editor you say? Well, ok - I’m sure he has been responsible be managing or building dozens of actual ARTICLES about what other people do.

IOW - he knows squat...

The author “forgets” to mention that PPP execution of big, very costly highway projects using non-government funding frees government transportation funds to be spent on all those unsexy projects like fixing the sewers, surface roads, bridge repair/replacement.

By the way, utility companies own and maintain their systems to include the repairs to deter/repair aging/out of date distribution system elements. Last January, a single house in my neighborhood had a gas leak and small explosion that was traced back to deteriorating gas distribution system piping. The utility company has had specialist contractors spend the last 9 months replacing all the piping throughout the subdivision. No public funding and no government oversight outside normal permit inspections. A little inconvenient at times when they were doing work on your street but overall very efficiently managed. Only downside is the streets are a quilt work of patches where the contractor trenched to lay the replacement piping and junctions.

How depressing. This article makes it clear that Donald Trump has no idea how to sell, organize, finance, manage, or complete building projects. Why did we elect this man anyway? /bitter sarc

The only thing obama did was create signs saying something would be done. I still drive the same pothole filled bumpy roads as before he stole all that money.
