Still, I say we let them do it. If California secedes, the left would be a permanent minority in the rest of the country, and the moochers would probably be streaming to emigrate to California, ruining their economy and making ours stronger.
Of course it will never happen. California is already bankrupt even with federal assistance, they would be completely defunct if they had to try and stand on their own.

A way to accomplish the same thing is just start limiting the federal government’s role in a state’s affair’s.
A number of topics lend themselves to this approach but tackling taxation, citizenship and health care/welfare are big issues
It would be nice to have CA join Texas in that effort
