That’s two elections in a row where primary folk were out of touch with reality.
hillary in both primaries, even though she won the second.
Giuliani, who I LOVE, but is not conservative enough at the national level, and now jeb.

DP, I think, what you just said, is the nutshell IN a nutshell.
These political people - wealthy, pampered, living in a bubble - have ZERO clue how their policies and regulations affect us, the normal working folks. They consider themselves above the laws that they deign to IMPOSE on us by the coercive force of a weaponized government.
THEY’RE not concerned with keeping the lights on, the heat on, food on the kitchen table, clothes on the kids’ backs, medical bills piling up, driving a fifteen year old car because you can’t afford a new one, taxes being forcibly taken out of your money to pay for people who won’t work or to support people who are here illegally...
They don’t understand it, because they don’t GIVE a f**k. They don’t give a f**k about you, or me, my kids, or my neighbors kids. Only about themselves.
And then along comes a guy like Trump - who one Freeper described as “Just like me, except with a whole lot of money.”
And it resonated. It resonated because THIS is a guy worked hard all his life, busted his ass to “make it” and succeed, and embraced and acheived the AMerican Dream that ALL of us want to attain.
And he listened to us. He listened to the out of work coal miners who were watching their kids go hungry, and gritting their teeth while the other side talked about a “War on Coal”; he listened to the AMERICAN workers who were put out of jobs by illegals and companies going offshore to get cheap labor at OUR expense. He listened to ordinary, decent, normal, hard working people who were sick and tired of being called names by a political party that has completey forgotten how to be American, and what it means to BE American.
While on the other side, from that same policital party, we had this vile, criminal shrew screeching at us at every opportunity, telling us how awful and hateful WE were, for disagreeing with her world view... all the while, riding her husband’s coattails and lecturing us on why she’s entitled to be the first woman President... and in reality was even LESS qualified than the subversive we have there now.
This was a no-brainer. You can only piss on our people for so long before we piss back.
What’s disturbing is that SO many still voted for her, still believe the bullsh*t she spewed, her whole PARTY spewed.
We have a lot of work to do to set things right. Time for OUR own “Long March” to begin, to fix this Country.
