I was pleased to discover that I had to (a) show my passport in order to register in Arizona and (b) show my drivers license to prove who I was at the polls.
Every state should require photo ID. To assume women and minorities are unable to get a state ID because they’re either stupid or destitute is the worst kind of bigotry.
At my polling place, most of the people we had to turn away for lack of ID were men. Is LoWV complaining that not enough men voted?
I don’t know what else can be done? Even motor voter means there was a license issued, of course. Why can’t ID-less voters have to be photographed at the site “for creating a temporary ID” but of course a copy kept for proving the integrity of results. There is too much trembling before the worries of the lefties, the illiberal soi-disant “liberals.”

hm....33 states enacted some kind of voter id law as of 09/2016.
27 were in effect prior to 2012.

when some one says voter Id laws are punitive against minority voters we should accuse them of making racist assumptions.
So, if ID rules rig the election for Trump, can’t we say that Motor Voter rules are intended to rig the election for the Democrats?

Suffragettes got hijacked by lefties. They wanted to politically queer the female vote.
I’m not sure what could take its place or how. That mare has fled the barn long ago. Maybe there could be a head of household vote. Sometimes even with the most virtuous intentions, a woman is single or head of a household. She would be the logical one to represent the household.
