Maybe they could resurrect Dan Quayle. He was a very skilled diplomat as VP.

I would love to see Quayle invited to a private meetig with Trump...just to see the reaction of the MSM.

Petraeus got rid of the Iranian paymasters in Iraq in December 2006...

I don't know what this means, and can't find any reference to it anywhere. Do you have a link?

What happened to Rudy? Are they thinking of a different spot of him? He has been as loyal as the day is long.

Why the parade of these other losers?

Sure. I can give you links about Iraqis all upset about the removal of the ‘Iranian diplomats’ but they were the pay masters and planners for anti-coalition attacks.

IMHO, the left has nuthin'. So they're just throwing crap against the wall, hoping to separate Trump from some of his supporters.

DO NOT listen to the evil lefty media.

It would be funny if Romney came groveling with an apology letter & Trump still said NO.

Nope—he’s anti-gun, anti-2nd Amendment who helped establish the anti gun group along with the astronaut, Mark Kelly and his wife.

Petraeus began directing Iraq operations in December, 2006 prior to his arrival. Petraeus was commanding SOCOM at the time and it was SOCOM personnel which arrested the Iranians.

Trump would look like the biggest hypocrite in the world if he picked Petreus. Spent a year beating up a former SOS for mishandling classified emails, then chooses for his SOS a person convicted of mishandling classified intel??

The real problem with Hillary's private email server is not that it wasn't secure, although that alone was felonious on its face.

The real reason Hillary used a private server was not that she didn't want to carry two Blackberries. It was that she didn't want her emails to be subject to to the Federal Records Act and the Freedom of Information Act. Because, then, the people might have discovered her corrupt dealings involving the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative!

No, the truth is, Hillary and Bill have become centimillionaires, not by building hotels people want to stay in or by making reality TV shows people want to watch, but by selling future access to the head of the US government!

As for Petraeus, he won the Iraq War. Only to see Zero piss it away.

Petraeus did illegally share classified info with his West Point graduate biographer, whom he was boinking under his desk. That was wrong. But how does it compare to what Hillary and Bill were doing?

Petraeus would make a fine Secretary of State.

Petraeus is brilliant, but that is not enough. President Trump should choose someone else for any official role.
