Donald Trump may be spending Thanksgiving with his family in his Florida club Mar-a-Lago, but the President-elect promises he hasn't stopped work..ing.
On Thursday he tweeted: 'I am working hard, even on Thanksgiving, trying to get Carrier A.C. Company to stay in the U.S. (Indiana). MAKING PROGRESS - Will know soon!' And Trump kept his energy up with a five-course meal with his family, with options including 'three-layer Trump chocolate cake' and 'Mr Trump's wedge salad'.

The Trump team had something to announce, however: The spread available at his Mar-a-Lago resort was made available to the media.
The five-course luxury menu was made available to the press, to give a hint at what the Trumps might be dining on for Thanksgiving.
And what a feast it was, with a selection of options including herb-marinated beef tenderloin, pan-seared Chilean sea bass and red-wine-braised short ribs. But the more intriguing options were outside the main courses - such as the 'three layer Trump chocolate pie' in the dessert section.
Meanwhile, the 'From the Garden' options included 'Mr Trump's Wedge Salad' and 'Ahi Tuna Martini's' [sic]. It's not clear what kind of a garden farms tuna or distills gin, but it's an impressive selection all the same.

Didn't we all have a "lavish" meal on Thanksgiving -- even the homeless, if they went to thousands of shelters across the US. A church near me even offered a Thanksgiving meal to ANYBODY who wanted to spend Thanksgiving with others. Everybody was welcome, no matter your income, or circumstances.
I thought FReepers would have fun with the snarkiness of the full headline.
I believe that Mar-a Lago is a RESORT and that other people stay there and that this menu was for the RESTAURANT where these people ate also....am I wrong?

My dad joined the Trump country club in palm beach about 6 months ago. He played golf there yesterday and met Trump at lunch. I have a pic and I have to say Trump looked great - skinnier and taller than he looks on TV.
Funny the media didn’t announce the benefits of having Thanksgiving dinner provided by Trump, but I am NOT surprised. Ungrateful bastards!
