Curse of Kaepernick! Quarterback coincidentally defends wearing Castro t-shirt HOURS before Cuban dictator's death is announced - and Twitter is quick to bask in his ill-timed comments

Colin Kaepernick wore a Fidel Castro t-shirt in August, sparking outcry

He defended the move in comments made public on Friday afternoon

Praised the Cuban leader for his 'education system' in an interview

Castro's death was announced by his grieving brother Raul hours later

Twitter users were quick to point out Kaepernick's ill-timing

Controversial San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick unwittingly found himself at the center of another storm on Friday as his praise for Fidel Castro was spread hours before the Cuban dictator's death was announced.

On Friday afternoon, Kaepernick's praise for the communist leader's education system sparked divide among fans.

He was explaining why he wore a t-shirt bearing the politician's image in August when he credited Castro for 'investing' more in schools than in prisons.

Hours later, Castro's death was announced by his brother Raul on state television.

Twitter users were quick to pick up on Kaepernick's ill-timed comments.

President-to-be Trump, PLEASE deport Kaepernick.

Also, I’ve thought of a new nickname for an unpatriotic soundrel who praises communist dictators: Kaepernicker.

And he’ll be playing in Miami tomorrow! Fortunately, he’ll be wearing a helmet to shield him from flying objects. What a Super Putz!

Ignorance is sad, but ignorance displayed on national television is tragic. Thirty years from now he’ll probably watch his young self on video and cringe. At least I hope he does.

Remember the MSM theme that “Trump loves dictators” because he happened to agree with what - during the Bush years - was a common leftist critique of the Iraq war, i.e., that Saddam was a bad guy but at least he kept the religious fanatics under control? Well, with Castro’s death, expect many in the MSM and in Dem politics to praise Castro for Cuba’s “literacy rate” and “health care.” We will be reminded who the real fans of dictators are.

“Losers of the world unite... you have nothing to lose but your sanity...” It’s a little late for that. Sanity is long gone. Perhaps he should inflate his innertube and follow the millions flocking to the paradise for its educational and health benefits.

You are so correct. These children have been traduced by the lies and programming of the leftist education centers for decades now.

I’ve been praying to God for the waking up and freeing and healing of His children who have been so horrendously lied to. And let Him judge His righteous judgment concerning those who have done the lying.

In tribute to the fallen dictator, Kaepernick should be flown at half staff.

Kaepernick should STFU and play football. Oh, yeah. That’s right. Kaepernick sucks at playing football.

The one year wonder, Kapernick, should have been cut from the NFL at the start of his SJW crusade. They ran Tebow out of town but they keep catering to a washed up scrub QB on a bad team. That is why the NFL is now stuck on stupid.

The totalitarian left always support each other.

They are the enemy and must be summarily destroyed.

Heard a great joke in the cafeteria today: Kapernick says to Cam Newton “why don’t you grow your hair out like mine?”. And Cam replies “because I actually play and have to wear a helmet. “
