The Truth about Fidel and Raul

re is more than enough evidence to judge the Castros’ legacy for what it is: the systematic exploitation and oppression of the Cuban people.

Two decades of “Castro-is-dead” rumors are finally at an end. And the race is on to see which world leader can most fulsomely praise Fidel Castro’s legacy, while delicately averting their eyes from his less savory characteristics. Two dul -elected leaders of democracies who should know better, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and American president Barack Obama, are leading the way. Mr. Trudeau praised Castro as a “legendary revolutionary and orator” who “made significant improvements to the education and health care of his island nation.” Mr. Obama offered his “condolences” to the Cuban people, and blandly suggested that “history will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure.” Now, he added, we can “look to the future."

Boy the Canadian PM is really a piece of ####.

His remarks were more sickening than obummer’s.

Sean Penn will be at the funeral :)

But you have to admit, he turned Cuba into a paradise :) yes, /s

I just feel for all the Americans drowning trying to make it to Cuba on shoddy rafts...

May he burn in hell, he was a serial killer, robber, thug and depraved. Deserving of the hatred of good people.

The day after the Berlin Wall fell, the American President should have sent a "reconnaissance in force" into Cuba to "assist Fidel in maintaining order". During the process of that incursion, Castro should have been "accidentally killed by friendly fire".

Nobody deserved it more, but, unfortunately, as so many dictators do, he died peacefully in bed.

Why would Hussein and Trudy praise this murdering tyrant who held power for 50 years? Ans. They have the same psychopathic personalities and would follow in his steps if they could manage it.

My Italian socialist/communist friend and her son posting a picture of Castro and saying “Siempre la revolución”...a great man! What do I expect from people who consider Che a hero? After all she cried when Arafat died..”He was a great leader, he did so much for his people”...I shouldn’t be surprised, most of Europe feels the same.

Yes Mr Obama, the American people have been looking to the future for about three weeks now. Thank you for noticing.

Yes, and encouraged freedom around the world, China too. A missed opportunity. There would have been no country to come to Cuba’s aid. None.

An insight into the mind of a leftist. Both trudeau and bammy are marxists - power at any cost. They admire castro because they agree with what he did to obtain power.

How about on purposefully killing Castro with hostile fire?

Aside from Raul and a few key criminals in the Cuban government, I doubt the rest of the population would have objected.

I wonder the same thing about the personality cult in North Korea. If someone murdered Kim, some of the bosses would lose their cushy positions. But, all of them live under threat at all times. I imagine the lower levels of government under both regimes do it not so much for power, but because it makes them less likely to be harmed by serial killer in chief.

>>>unfortunately, as so many dictators do, he died peacefully in bed

Fidel had been nearly in a coma since the first of the month.

He woke up and was fine for the day.

Raul told him the news of the American election; it killed him.

Donald Trump’s glorious victory gave Fidel Castro a great heart attack.
