Hey Cuba, I just sent my condolences. I flushed twice but it still may take a while to get there.
The Cuban paradise has free health care and public education. I almost want to get in my innertube and head for Havana, except for the fact that there is so much traffic going the other way. Are the anti-Trump Hollywood types thinking of relocating there?

Now for my comments:
What were those accomplishments that Barbara Lee praises and now gives honor/mourning to Fidel Castro on? I think President-Elect Trump summed them up pretty well: “... firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights.” I think the Democrats ought to ask her Barbara Lee to resign and disassociate themselves with her. Anyone who associates with Barbara Lee or supports her has no business complaining about anyone else’s associations.
Now what to do about Cuba going forward? I think we need to have open dialogue with their leaders and encourage as much cross-border interactions as possible by their people and ours. For starts, the Cuban people should come to this website so we can interact and communicate ideas back/forth about the various political factions in both our countries and globally. And we need to unrelentingly push them to have normal elections, real checks/balances, and real respect for the rights of their people. Once they fix those issues then we can lift the embargo.
