Former Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., was spotted at Trump Tower on Monday, where he reportedly met with Vice President-elect Mike Pence as well as members of the incoming administration’s national security team.
The retired lieutenant colonel also sat down with retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who has been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to be national security adviser, and K.T. McFarland, who will be deputy national security adviser, The Hill reported.
“Nothing was offered. I mean, they know my reputation very well,” West told pool reporters in Trump Tower following the meeting.

He is suffering from the boot shaking terror that men with field miltary experience might replace the nancified financier class in critical positions of glverenment.
West did not get thrown out of his congressional district by his voters....his district lines were changed at the Florida state house & he was voted out by mostly new voters in a relined district.
As I recall, Col West was effectively 'gerrymandered' out of his Congressional district by the Den controlled Congress.
I couldn’t agree with this statement more. Col West is one of my favorite people on the National Veteran’s stage. So much RESPECT...

That’s how I remember it as well! That’s when the GOPe was getting rid of as many Tea Party members as possible. He was a thorn in the GOPe’s side.
West wasn’t rejected by voters! He was the victim of election fraud. How do I know? I was there !
West needs to return to the Army with his 201 file purged of any of the fallout from the contretemps that got him pushed into forced retirement in the sandbox. He should also be bumped up two grades to brigadier general.

I totally agree. The fraud was so big and so obvious, even a Democrat who wanted to see West defeated wrote an article documenting and condemning it. That’s the one I linked to. The GOPe could have stepped in to help West financially, but as you said, they were happy to be rid of him.
It was a disgrace.
Obviously you don’t know Col. West. He is highly intelligent, extremely well read, gung ho in everything he undertakes and is no slacker in ANY department. With Allen, you get the whole package. Do you know anything about Allen West that isn’t hearsay? Read his newsletters for starters.
You are spot on! This is coming from a 71 years young, black male and Florida resident.
He is all of that- but is he managment material? Can he balance a budget? negotiate contracts? Make technical decisions?
I know he is a great leader and patriot - but those skills are not all inclusive.
Gerrymandered and BIG TIME jerk Alan Grayson is West’s enemy.
