He believes that the media, his racist flunkies and the collective guilty whites that voted for this racist halfrican will keep saying and thinking this and repeating it over and over again until it somehow magically becomes true.

It’s all “nuance” and semantics. He’s technically correct, in that ISIS proper, or Al Qaeda, or the Taliban, have not themselves planned and carried out any attacks. But this is only because none of those groups is in reality very large. They all, however, have legions of followers who are not explicitly part of the actual group, and do not receive direct orders from anyone in those groups, but still carry out the will of those groups.

This is also, as far as I can tell, part of explicit policy promulgated from the Obongo administration to all federal agencies, and hence down to state and local LEAs: That Radical Islam *cannot* be used as a possible motivation for an attack, so any attack must be the result of some other cause.

As it always is with leftists, they have to lie in order to maintain power. If they ever told the truth about their policies, either in their actual intentions or the results, they’d never be allowed near the government ever again. In this case, they have to disguise the impact of radical islam on the US, because that impact is directly attributable to outcomes from their own policies. As long as the followers of those RI groups are defined as isolated attackers, even if this is a paper-thin disguise, the left can pretend that they are not failures and not responsible for the deaths they’re causing.

Over time, I’ve developed the theory that leftists in general are not as emotionally mature as those on the right, and at some internal level cannot truly handle personal responsibility. Therefore, leftists are driven to support a huge, parental government that makes their decisions for them, and serves as a responsibility sink, bearing the blame for any leftist failures without implicating anyone and always in need of more resources to prevent the next failure.
