We don’t know for sure that he ignored Gore’s advice. It’s possible Gore advised Trump, “please, for the love of God, do not nominate this man!” Ha...just like earlier today when Chicago mayor Emanuel gave Trump a letter signed by a dozen or so mayors saying they would resist closing their sanctuary cities.
So Trump now has a convenient list of those cities to cut off funds starting on January 20th.
