Protestant denominations allow abortion. That was my point.

The Catholic Church does NOT allow abortion, period.

MY denomination doesn’t allow abortions.

Many others don’t as well.

Whereas many Catholic bishops are happy to give a wink and a nod.

So in other words, we all got problems.

The Catholic Church does not allow birth control either. The want to promote birth of more Catholics. Interesting factoid, the largest number of converts to Atheism or non belief come from Catholicism. There have been efforts to have the contraceptive view officially changed given the severe Zika danger in Latin America. On the other hand in the US, most Catholics do use birth control.
