A federal judge dealt another blow Monday to the Green Party-backed push for a presidential election recount in key battleground states, rejecting a request to recount paper ballots in Pennsylvania and scan some county systems for signs of hacking.
The Green Party has made similar attempts at recounts in Wisconsin and Michigan, all states won by President-elect Donald Trump. But while the Wisconsin count is almost done, a federal judge halted Michigan's recount last week - the decision Monday in Pennsylvania amounts to another setback for Jill Stein and her allies.
In his 31-page decision, U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond said there were at least six grounds that required him to reject the Green Party's lawsuit, which had been opposed by Trump, the Pennsylvania Republican Party and the Pennsylvania attorney general's office.
Suspicion of a hacked Pennsylvania election "borders on the irrational," wrote Diamond, an appointee of former President George W. Bush, a Republican.
"Most importantly, there is no credible evidence that any `hack' occurred, and compelling evidence that Pennsylvania's voting system was not in any way compromised," Diamond wrote. He also said the lawsuit suffered from a lack of standing, potentially the lack of federal jurisdiction and an "unexplained, highly prejudicial" wait before filing last week's lawsuit, four weeks after the Nov. 8 election.

She can appeal it, you know, to keep the money flow running.
I love how he says the claim of a hacked election “boarders on the irrational.”
While I knew her recount push was bogus, I didn’t realize how bogus it was until I read the opinion. Her expert admitted that he didn’t know Pennsylvania procedures for safeguarding the machines. Stein’s claims of hacking come down to pure speculation. Seriously. No evidence. Just pure speculation. And she filed it at the last minute too, and didn’t bother to follow the correct evidentiary procedures, probably because she didn’t have any evidence. She and her attorneys should be sanctioned.
Rejected in two states....Pa and Michigan and Wisconsin is still counting...bye bye Dr Jill....306 Electoral votes
He wont 83% of the counties in America
take away the 100 most populated counties of america..there are 3,017 of them and Trump won by over 11 million votes in popular vote......by all menas Jetison Calif and other such places works for me
the Electoral college did what it was supposed to do
KEEP us away from the stupid minions that would destroy us
This judge is obviously Russian.
The “safe harbor” federal deadline for having electors appointed is tomorrow. No rational judge will entertain any recount motion at this late date, since it could not possibly be completed by the deadline.
Yup. Rejected. BOOM! Because they’re pretty sure the fix is in come 12/19/2016 when the EC tosses the election. Sure, that’s gotta be it. Think there was turmoil after 11/8/2016?
A deserved kick in the gonads...
HOORAY U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond
I laugh at and ridicule the lunatics (LIBs). They are worthless.
The judge had his head hacked by the Russians, because the Times said they have an unnamed source.
I love how he says the claim of a hacked election boarders on the irrational.
Didn’t the Russians hack the voting machines? :>)
And why didn’t these reasons that applied in PA apply in WI?
“No rational judge will entertain any recount motion at this late date, since it could not possibly be completed by the deadline.”
Do I have to say it?
Different states have different rules and deadlines. For one, Stein started the process on time in WI and didn’t in PA. Two, Stein paid WI the full cost of the recount and was effectively trying to get a freeby in PA.
His last name is DIAMOND, so he’s probably related to Diamond & Silk or once sold diamonds to Donald to give to Melania....
Do you suppose she’s paying the judges to deny her petitions so she can keep the recount money?
