Mittens really should run the VA. He gets things done. Good For Republicans even if Trump hates him.
The VA is a very mixed bag as far as care; however, the bloated bureaucracy is beyond repair. The government works program mentality pervades the entire system and those who do good work do it in spite of it all. I don’t think it’s salvageable.
As a soon eligible vet, I would rather see a good insurance program that allows choice, with the exception of some state-of-the-art facilities for combat-related injuries that should be retained due to the nature of the requirements.
Romney was into socialized medicine long before Obama. He is not a Vet. He is not this business pro folks think he is. He knows zip about managing a health dept. Neither he nor any of his sons have ever served a damn day.
