Its not just 10 year olds.
I’ve had people behind me just start ranting and gesturing and it took a while to realize it was in reaction to my Trump/Pence sticker.
The day after the election, and still basking in the warm glow of knowing that Hillary was sitting somewhere boo-hooing, I decided that it was time to take down my Trump-Pence yard sign.
Whilst doing so...some froot-loop drove by and shouted to the effect: "yeah, F*** Trump, get that trash out of sight".
The sign will now stay up until it either rots off the stand or weather renders it unreadable.
Plus, I moved it closer to the road.
I had a similar experience. Car was following me to work one day and the driver looked none to happy. When I turned into the company lot and he realized we worked at the same company, I could see thru the rear view mirror he was flailing his arms. He turned right into the corporate lot and I continued to the engineering lot. It was a great day !
