President-elect Donald Trump is planning executive actions and proposed legislation on border security in the first 100 days, according to a transition team official. Answering a question from Breitbart News on a conference call with reporters, Trump transition team spokesman Jason Miller reacted to the news that the Obama administration had scrapped the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System.
Miller indicated that there would much more to come in response to the decision, as Trump finished making appointments in the necessary areas of government dealing with border security and immigration.
The national policy team and the incoming cabinet and administration members are spending a lot of time reviewing potential executive order actions, working through a 100-day plan for particular pieces of legislation that will be coming up, he said.
Stopping radical Islamic terrorists from entering the country were of paramount importance for the president-elect, Miller said...

Good, we need action as soon as he’s inaugurated. Something tells me we will see good things happening in that first 100 days, and even beyond.
If something is already on the books, Trump has every right to issue an Executive Order directing his department heads to enforce the laws on the books.
If Obama has chosen to issue executive orders striking down law, Trump should simply reinstate those laws.
There are a lot of executive orders a president could issue, if they simply direct people to enforce the law.
That is not him creating new law. It is him living up to his oath of office, to enforce the laws of this nation.
It will be the first time since Reagan where a guy has tried to do that.
That overlooks Reagan’s amnesty, with could arguably be a time when he didn’t enforce the laws, but went along with new laws so he wouldn’t have to.
I do believe Reagan tried to do the right thing, but I also believed then and now, that he blew it on immigration.
How about making E-Verify mandatory for all employers throughout the country?
Obamanation is will seem like a bad case of food poisoning - It sucks like hell going through it, but soon it will be over and we’ll forget it ever happened, like a bad nightmare. My God, only 29 more days left! 4 years ago I was saying, “My God, 4 years! An eternity!” LOL!
Safe space! Safe space!
GO TRUMP GO!
Awesome. I can’t wait to hear about the inward looking plan to get those here out.
I read about a pilot program at the Otay Mesa Port of entry in San Diego. Everybody leaving the U.S.A. either swipes their passport on the way back to Mexico or they have their face scanned. People can be tracked like FedEx packages. Track them on the way in and on the way out. The technology is there.
All you people gotta stop, I keep getting spanked but winning and winning yet again and again
Ouch, but I like it.
I LOVE how Trump is just forging ahead and blatantly IGNORING Obama!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Here is the thing that makes me mad. I guarantee they are tracking entry and exit for citizens.
Why not for non citizens?????
There were a lot of us, maybe you included, that really worried that since Obama had just been re-elected there wasn't going to be anyway we could recover.
I had many sleepless nights over that.
E verify need to be used for govt workers also
He doesn’t need an executive order to enforce laws. His department heads will know what he wants. If there is something specific he can issue a memo to them.
He only needs executive orders to rescind Obama’s executive orders.
Yep, and Social Security.
Well yes. That's the idea.
I’m sorry, but I am not picking up on the connection. Could you provide a bit more tie-in.
Bad nightmares are seldom forgotten. In time, they might not be as frightening; but, they are remembered time and again.
Four years ago, tears flowed freely. What a difference 4 years makes. Now look where we see ourselves. Who’d a thunk it?
Nice. Christmas in two days then Christmas again in Jaunuary.
