Uh, Sowell has never subbed for Rush.
Walter Williams has, though.
Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell are old friends and colleagues going back 50+ years - Williams would interview Sowell while subbing for Rush and often talked about him.
Hence the confusion of some - I too have heard Dr Sowell on Rush - being interviewed over the phone by Walter Williams.
So the first poster was right.
True - but Williams did have lengthy discussions on Rush’s show with him...close enough for me!
I believe that Sowell has been an interview guest while Williams subbed for Rush. The hour was an intellectual feast.
Years ago he subbed for Rush, as did Walter Williams. He ended his guest hosting spots after a couple of years while WW continued until recently.
That’s right - it was Walter Williams. (Getting old in my old age ).
