Our Cub Scout Pack has several little sisters hanging around ... Kathleen, Alexis, Elizabeth. They all have older brothers in the Pack, so they can go on the campouts anyway, but they’re at loose ends during Den meetings.
We’re half-seriously considering registering them as boys so they can work the program in the Dens of their age, and seeing what falls out.

Every family I know that has done BSA and GSUSA wishes they could put the girls through the BSA program. When I’m getting the Wolf Den organized, I always say, “Alexis and Elizabeth can come, too!” (Kathleen is only 4.)

Families are welcome at den and pack meetings. But when it comes to the program itself, your council should not even accept the application let alone recognize advancements of girls. but they are NOT welcome to go pack camping. If your pack wishes to go family camping rather
than pack camping the they would be welcome. When it is time to crossover into a troop, what are you going to tell the girls because boy scouts is completely different program. Put them in girl scouts where they belong. When they turn 14, if they are still interested, they can start or join an venturing crew.
