Well, I wish I had a dollar for everytime I heard some “expert” claim everything was going to crash into some post-apolayptic hell. I fell for it in 1981.In May of 2008 I put all my IRA into cash because of this type of warning. Didn't lose a dime for the next year.

I moved all my retirement funds into bonds in 2008. Not because of scary warnings but simply because the fact that the stock market only crashes when the DemocRats control the House. Didn’t lose a cent during the crash. In fact bonds did really really well.
