"Duterte threatens to throw corrupt officials out of a helicopter — and says he’s done it before"

In his latest controversial statement, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, known for his bloody anti-drug war that has killed thousands, threatened to throw corrupt officials out of a helicopter, saying he has done it before, to a kidnapper, and won't hesitate to do so again.

“I will pick you up in a helicopter to Manila, and I will throw you out on the way,” Duterte said in Tagalog in front of a crowd in the Camarines Sur province Tuesday, according to GMA News. “I've done it before. Why would I not do it again?”

Duterte worries me. He seems manic. I heard that he uses Fentenyl for pain management (back injury). He has been suspected of being hooked on pain relievers.
This may simply be what they used to call ‘Saber Rattling’ meant to intimidate, but I wonder if he’s actually telling the truth here. This was a public statement, not something yelled during a closed door negotiation.

It seems pretty evident that Duterte is (at best) acting mentally ill. Are his outbursts politically popular? Is he in danger of being removed from office?

sounds like a great idea! and if he can possibly manage to fly the Trump airplane, it has larger capacity needed for Efficient removal of ALL the embedded enemy agents and traitors inside our defense and intelligence agencies, plus fly a few additional one-way drops to clean out the damned SnakeDept too!

A guy I work with who’s wife is from the Phillipines says her family thinks Duterte is great. There are places there that are in danger of becoming narco states and spiraling down like Mexico.

You have to wonder. I enjoyed the way he mouthed off to Obama like any other self respecting Deplorable, but if he were my president, I would worry. The Chinese (his new best friends) are probably laughing at him.

Washington Post uses term for throwees... “Corrupt officials.”

One man’s corrupt official is another man’s whistleblower.

Difficult to know what’s really going on in the PI.

A world leader has admitted committing mass murder. Yet there he remains. This is unprecedented.
