I've seen several safe democrats saying the party needs to swing back toward the center and address the issues affecting middle america.
What you don't see is party leaders doing it because their donor base is far left radical progressives, they need to tread water lightly and not piss them off...
You will see a strong emphasis on their old 50 state strategy building democrat coalitions in states to win back yellow dog democrats...
I'm sure those 'safe' Democrats also couched their comments in the sort of language that is least likely to draw the ire of the leftist majority on their side.
They're obviously trying to reason with their fellows, but their fellows don't respond to reason. It's what makes them liberals. No, that sound advice is falling on deaf ears.
Like the MSM, who are going bankrupt because of their intransigent leftist bent, the Democrat party is headed for oblivion because they refuse to recognize reality and truth.
