Ted Cruz: Trump Is Filling His Cabinet With Conservative ‘All-Stars’ [AUDIO]
Daily Caller ^ | 1-5-17 | CHRISTIAN DATOC

Posted on 01/05/2017 11:47:50 AM PST by bigbob

Sen. Ted Cruz told Washington, DC radio host Larry O’Connor Wednesday that Donald Trump is filling his cabinet with “all-star” conservatives.

The Texas Republican noted that Republicans have been handed a “historic opportunity” to do a “great deal of good” in repealing “the disaster that is Obamacare.”

“It was one of the fundamental reasons why I ran for the Senate and promised the people of Texas that I would fight everyday to repeal Obamacare,” he continued. “I cannot tell you how gratifying it is to see us on the verge of delivering on that promise.”

Cruz then pointed to the president-elect’s cabinet nominations, “and I tell you that I have been really pleased and really impressed with President-elect Trump.”

“This is a serious cabinet, a cabinet of highly qualified individuals, and it is a cabinet of strong conservatives,” Cruz added. “The president-elect should be commended for bringing together a team of all-stars.”

“I think that bodes really well for the commitment to carry through on the promises we made.”

Born here of citizen parents, whether natural born or naturalized.
Children of foreign nationals inherit the nationality of their foreign national parent.
The only way one is NATURALLY a US citizen is when there is no alternative, no other possibility.
When one can be something else, one cannot be a natural born citizen.

You are right, Rubio, Jindal and Haley are not eligible because they did not have citizen parents, despite being born here.

Cruz is doubly ineligible because of his Canadian birth citizenship and his foreign national father.

McCain was chosen as the perfect foil for Obama because he had the most sympathetic case, his father was an Admiral and he could have been born on US territory, in which case he would be eligible, although to this day we have not seen a birth certificate from him.

Exactly Right. Christians voted in the largest block in Decades for Trump.

But hey, some just can’t get over the butt hurt. McLoser and Grahamnasty have already started the inter party Bitching and backstabbing, yet here on a Conservative web site instead of calling the weasels out for their behavior THIS WEEK and last, some are going to continue to pick Cruz apart for doing the right thing NOW.

Someone please explain how that is ANY different than McConnell saying he wanted to punch the conservatives right in the mouth?

That is exactly why this place goes to the outhouse during elections.

Just scroll past the ones who delight in dangling the bait to start the internecine wars up again. They weren’t worth it before the primaries.

#36 You think WAY to highly of yourself or your opinions.

Please see Trump’s tweets over the last Month. Notice not ONE referring to anything negative towards Cruz. Maybe you should take a lesson?

Without FR to seminar post you’ld be left with talking to your cats....until the ran off.

Cruz can say all the things you want, but he’s on my watchlist for his Senate actions.

You poor thing.

What Trump says doesn’t change truth.

What Tead Crudz does now doesn’t change truth.

The outcome of the election didn’t change truth.

Your childish rejection of truth doesn’t change it either.

Your inconsequential insults to me don’t change it.

It just advances the truth of my comments, of Tead, and now you.

If real Conservatives had taken Tead the Imposter’s approach to supporting Trump and opposing Hillary Clinton, we would have PE Hillary Clinton to worry about.

Luckily, enough people saw Tead for what he was, a total fraud. That’s why many of us jettisoned him early in the campaigning for the nomination.

When you come to terms with this and decide to grow up mentally, you’ll be a lot happier.

Cruz must support Trump now if he wants to be reelected in 2018.

You’re very welcome.

You made your point, you didn’t pull your head out long enough to know what point you were making.

June 28th was the date Trump obtained the needed delegates to the convention to obtain then nomination.

After that date Crudz spent two days going through the motions for the Trump/Pence ticket. He never endorsed. He never went after Hillary Clinton tooth and nail.

And you’re so bright, you need someone to mention this to you.

Tead is an absolute backstabbing ass.

Well look, some of us had legit concerns but based on most these picks we had little to worry about!

I was never so happy to be wrong.

Mostly agreed! I wish Ted could be trusted in some position of the Trump admin, but I am not quite there yet. He has great talent, but he needs to be watched/controlled carefully.

Ted has shown he has poor judgment regarding people. As Trump has demonstrated (and even Medved admitted) a POTUS can possess no more important skill.

Yet I kept hearing how unqualified Trump was.
