I have a Ford I tested yesterday here in NC and that damn sucker was impressive.

My 82 Chevy had over 300K when I sold it. It was still going strong.
My 98 Chevy is now over 250K and doing fine.
My 75 Corvette and 56 3/4ton don’t get driven much now, but when I do, they get the job done.
I also have a Chevy engine in my 53Willys. It does the job fine as well.

What kind of engines? And what kind of driving?

The last engine I had was one of the newer types, a 275-cid small-block V8. I wasn’t able to find a 350. Mostly highway driving. Didn’t beat on it and kept it maintained on schedule.

Cruze is made in Ohio for domestic market.

As it turns out, GM only imports a small number of Cruze hatchbacks from Mexico and Barra said it makes all of the sedans at a factory in Lordstown, Ohio, near Cleveland.

This is a flat-out lie by GM. Go to any dealorship selling the Cruze and check the VIN tags. If it starts out 3G1 then it was made in Mexico. Turns out a large number of Cruze cars being sold in the USA, are indeed made in Mexico and not in Ohio. They're even being sold in Ohio!
