Hollywood's utter contempt for President-Elect Donald Trump and Middle America was on full display during Sunday night’s Golden Globes.

A who’s who of Hollywood A-listers unleashed a torrent of hateful remarks directed not only at the president-elect, but also toward his supporters (the folks Hillary deemed as irredeemable deplorables). --SNIP-- In 2003, she gave convicted child molester Roman Polanski a standing ovation after he was awarded an Oscar at the Academy Awards. She saluted a child molester – a deviant who had sex with a 13-year-old girl after drugging her.

How anyone can think Streep is such a great actress is beyond me. Besides being unattractive, her roles are just downright depressing. What a hag.

And what about “Sophie’s Choice”, perhaps the dumbest broad in history. She knew her boyfriend would wind up killing her, but she kept going back to him anyway. A waste of time.

I’m kinda surprised that Jimmy Fallon would bash Trump.

Meryl Streep is the most over rated actress. Her movies rarely make any money. Rarely.

I’m only guessing, but I’ve seen maybe one or two films with her in them - I don’t know, because they made that low an impression on me.

I think the murder of Roman’s wife scrambled his brain. Sharon Tata was considered the most beautiful woman in the world by many. Very pregnant at the time she was murdered by the manson clan. I’m not letting him off for his crime, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the murder was a turning point?

I think Sophie had a death wish because of the “choice” she was forced to make and because of her experiences during the Holocaust. She wanted to die.

She overacts in a manner that I find distracting and annoying.

I thought Meryl Streep was good as the witch in “Into the Woods,” but not as good as Bernadette Peters. Nobody’s as good as Bernadette Peters except the late Madeleine Kahn.

I just looked at her filmology, I’ve seen ONE, The Deer Hunter. I don’t even remember her or what part she played.

I hate when that happens.

You’re right, she was very beautiful, and it was a ghastly situation.

Never could stand old hatchet face . . . poor actress, horribly unattractive, and obvious stupid. The only one uglier than her is that Sex-and-the-City horseface.

Marketing 101 - Antagonizing customers, actual or potential, is not a pathway to success.

Human Relations 101 - Insulting people will not win them over to your way of thinking.

No shit. I felt sorry for her co-star in that flick- not just because of the depressing role, but because he had to act as if he was sexually attracted to Streep. Talk about taking one for the team...

Yeah, I'd say Kevin Kline upgraded.

Have you ever seen the adaptation of Macbeth that he directed not long after the murders?

Very disturbing film, even by modern standards.

Reports are that Polanski was screwing around on Tate as she was pregnant with their child. He is another typical liberal jag.
