ACTUALLY, Anthony Burgess of “Clockwork Orange” fame wrote a rarely known critique of 1984 called 1985, which is part essay critique, part novel. In the novel, he postulates the real downfall of England, which is liberal trade unions and, YOU GUESSED IT, Islam.
