TRUMP'S PERSONAL INCOME FROM OVERSEAS BUSINESS WILL BE CONTRIBUTED TO U.S.TREASURY.
O' RILEY FACTOR | 1/11/2011 | Lou Dobbs

Posted on 01/11/2017 6:45:57 PM PST by windhover

Another fantastic offer by Trump! Overseas income to Trump will go to U.S. Treasury. What is the ethical problem here. Impossible! Right? Think again.

Critics point out his name on everything from golf courses to hotels will have increased security risk, with costs that Trump will have to cover. Oh yes. those dangerous Trump kids will have be included.

For some, the taste of " Sour Grapes" is irresistable.

I heard him say 'profits', not the whole income. That means income less costs of doing business.

I don't know what these cretins want from the man?

That was an incredibly generous thing he committed to.

There is no doubt he is doing this because he loves his country.

He didn’t have to put himself through the wringer like this.

As much disdain as I have for O’Bloviator, he was pretty pro-Trump tonight. He even shot down Bernie Goldberg, who has become a cheerleader for the left after his brilliant book, Bias!

Not a fan of O’Reilly’s gratuitous indignation, but he definitely gave Trump a fair shot during the election, and repeatedly called out the egregious ‘reporting’ by the MSM charlatans.

This also includes any monies spent by foreigners in domestic Trump holdings. He’s amazing. Who else would donate that money to the treasury! !

The insane media and Dems have solidified Trump’s base for him. He should thank them. LOL.

Income is usually synonymous with profits not revenue.

But still. He’s already foregone a salary. Now he’s paying us to be President.

Word of the day emoluments

emoluments e m o l u ments

Donating to the Clinton foundation is an emolument staying at the Trump Hotel in Scotland is not.

There, I used in a sentence maybe even a correctly - I hope as I write with the grace of an illegal.

I don’t think he should do this. What does it gain him? The MSM will never leave him alone. Attack them, show no mercy, because they will act no differently if you appease them.

At this point, he’s covered. He’s already doing and has done more than he legally has to.

“Income is usually synonymous with profits not revenue”

Wrong. GAAP says otherwise. Income is money received. Period.

It was profits, and only from that one hotel in DC, as I heard it.

O’Reilly is truly a phenomenom. None have gone so far, on so little.

Perhaps we should make that a requirement.
