Ted Cruz' defense of Senator Sessions and his dismemberment of the Democrats on this Senate committee yesterday demonstrated once again his unmatched forensic skills and make clear that, far from going anywhere, Cruz is destined to emerge as one of the leaders of the Senate and a potential presidential candidate very soon.

No one is made leader because he is loved but because of his skills or what he can offer. Trump was hardly loved by the leadership of the party. Churchill was actively despised by the members of his own party who opposed him at every turn in the run-up to the war. Cruz will prove his effectiveness and will shine in comparison to the Rinos who bite at his heels.

You created your own problem, chief.

If you catch up on your Scriptures you will learn who has the problem and it is not I but the accuser.

DJT is the president elect despite Levin and his so called “conservative values.” He can go straight to hell and I pray he takes his YouTube TV launch with him.

Judging from the independent report I read, Levin's television venture is "wildly successful."

One would expect nothing less in view of the success of his radio program, of his books, and of his adventures in public interest litigation.

“Mark - Trump has been working 20 hour days and fighting for patriots every day for the last 18 months ! And you have continuously abused, insulated and denigrated him !”

Levin takes a principled approach to Trump. He praises Trump when he deserves it; criticizes him when he deserves it. I don’t expect Levin to budge on his principles.

Yep! One thing that Rush and Levin are finding out now: when you betray trust and burn somebody, getting that trust back is really difficult. In most cases, it’s impossible. If I was a business partner of Rush’s or Levin’s, I wouldn’t do business with them for so much as a stick of gum anymore. When somebody goes behind my back and treats me like a jerk that was never anything to them, they’re held accountable. They don’t get to do that for free.

You have destroyed your credibility with me.

Sorry to put it in those terms, but that’s as accurately as I can describe it.

Last fall Tead Curz was willing to remain silent in the face of Hillary Clinton getting to nominate the next SCOTUS justices.

She could have tilted this nation Left for the next fifty years. Tead didn’t give a S.

That is not a man who grasps our ideals.

As I have said, Tead has a mouth, but his brain has lapses.

How much good would Tead be doing us right now if Hillary had been elected?

He didn’t have the mental faculties to grasp that.

Either that or he honestly saw no difference between Trump and Clinton.

That’s a guy you wish to shore up?

LOL

Which side are you on fella?

Tead Curz or our nation? Obviously Tead Curz.

Not gonna join you.

Your attempt to hide behind the bible with your head in the clouds doesn’t impress me in the slightest. It you’re going to talk the talk, you need to walk the walk. Right now, you’re not.

We so needed a Donald Trump. He doesn’t fit the elite rightists’ version of a “President.” But under Gd he is the only kind of man (billionaire, bold, deeply patriotic, not in with the elites like a sheep but truly a considerate leader, real and engaging) who would do right now.

Levin in his childish superiority would have had president Hillary. He doubled down on a phony with zero character. The elites and their horribly voiced megaphones like Levin appear now quite dumbly selfish. And they will pay the price.

“It is time. It is time that we stand our ground in defending Donald Trump’s legitimacy and the fact that he is the President-elect and to become the president.”

Heed your own counsel, Levin, that's all I've got to say. Positive-sounding clickbait headlines just to suck people into your usual negative diatribes don't count.

Levin’s guiding principles include supporting a less-qualified candidate that’s paying him and his family. It shouldn’t be a surprise that people aren’t impressed with that.

Levin is and always has been a fraud through and through

What a remarkable statement in view of Levin's biography. He has always been consistent to his vision of conservatism. You might ask who is the Johnny-come-lately to conservatism? Who has changed his positions on so many issues? Who has changed his party affiliation?

No, Levin is not a fraud because you find his support of Trump, when Levin's version of conservatism so demanded, to be insufficiently fanatical. Equally, he is not a toady when he supports Trump as he more often than not does on those overwhelming majority of occasions when Levin finds Trump soundly grounded in constitutional and conservative principles.

Just a heads up - if you adhere to Levin you are going to be increasingly uncomfortable in this environment.

I engage in this conservative forum to exchange ideas not to enhance my personal comfort or, worse, to confirm my fixed opinions.

If you are comfortable, you should be very nervous that you mistake comfort for being fat dumb and happy.

What NB would have us ignore is Levin's "liberal" interpretation of the Constitution regarding Ted Cruz's eligibility for the Presidency, as well as the fact that, especially during the primary cycle but extending well into the general election cycle, Mark Levin gleefully parroted every single phony, hateful smear of Donald Trump that emanated from the Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself).

Combine that with Levin's now-routine nastiness to any caller who even slightly disagrees with him, and you have a formula for someone who will lapse into irrelevancy due to his irrational hatred for President-elect Trump—a hatred which coincidentally mirrors your own.

Have you repudiated your former assertions that Donald Trump is a "con-man" and "charlatan" (your words, among many others similarly derogatory)?

If not, here's your golden opportunity to do so, because it should be pretty clear at this point, to any but the most self-deluded person, that President-elect Trump doesn't qualify as either of those insulting terms...

Speaking of credibility, did Donald Trump retain his credibility with you when he insinuated that Ted Cruz' father participated in the assassination of John F. Kennedy?

Did he retain his credibility with you when he falsely flat-out accused Ted Cruz of infidelities?

How slippery is the principle of credibility with you? .

I think I’ve had enough of his priceless advice.

“Birtherism” is the greatest Alinsky ever perpetrated.

They have gotten the American people to reject one of the most valuable safeguards bequeathed to us by the founders.
The natural born citizen clause served us well until we ignored it.
Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama should be proof enough of the wisdom of the founders when they tried to prevent him from being President by requiring someone who could only be a US citizen and nothing else.
Born here of citizen parents.
Naturally a US citizen because there is no other possibility.
One cannot be anything else and also be a natural born citizen.

It does not matter if he was born in Hawaii if his father was a foreign national.
Children of foreign nationals inherit the nationality of their foreign national parent(s).
Natural born citizen means born here of citizen parents.
No other possible citizenship(s).
Only when one cannot be anything else can one be a natural born citizen.

No foreign birth.
No foreign parent(s)
No foreign citizenship(s)
No foreign influence on the Presidency is what John Jay stated in a letter to George Washington as the reason for insisting on a natural born citizen.

Obama told us he was born a British subject.

Who believes Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Jay, Monroe, Madison, etc. would have found him to be a natural born citizen?

Who believes they would have thought the recently deceased King of Thailand was eligible to be President?
He was born in Cambridge MA.

Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009, happened with the complete cooperation of both parties.
They want the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
Confuse people about the clear meaning of a three word phrase and voila, every anchor baby and Winston Churchill is eligible.

The bench was the reason the GOP went along with the fig leaf resolution for McCain that was used by the Democrats as cover for Obama.
Jindal, Rubio, Haley, George P. Bush and Cruz were all up and comers and the future of the party and ineligible.

The truth of the Kenyanesian Usurpation will never see the light of day because both parties cooperated in the violation of the Constitution

Sargon, there is no need for you to mount up and ride into the fray on your favorite hobby horse which is to attack me ad hominem, that has already been covered by Reno89519 and it is regrettably typical of those who share your presumption.
