They dream of reducing the world’s population to , depending on who is doing the dreaming, 5 or 50 or 500 million people, including themselves, of course. Any means for getting to that dreamy number that leaves the planet pristine is just fine. Famine is efficient and doesn’t make everything radioactive. They think somehow they are going to get to kêp all the technology and live in dense domed cities around the world with each having a country house somewhere in the pristine wilderness.
