The airport was rocked by multiple explosions, some of which were captured by social media...”

Shia Crescent, weapons to Hezbollah are funneled from Iran through Syria to Hezbollah and in the past, Hamas. That still could be going on, but Syrian Hamas relations took a hit with the Civil War.
