As far as I’m concerned the move from leaded to unleaded ruined gas mileage and increased the price dramatically - ethanol just compounds the problem.

Note also that there was a sudden HUGE increase in asthma rates that seems to coincide with that same change in gasoline formulation and additives.

Lead most certainly should have been removed, but whatever they are using now has negative effects as well.

LOL!

My 475 hp car gets 27 mpg on the highway compared to the low teens on regular cars back in the 60’s!

Adjusted for inflation, gas prices are about where they were in the 60’s.
