President-elect Donald Trump responded to backlash over his attack on Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) on Saturday evening, suggesting the pair work together to focus on the nation's inner cities.
“Congressman John Lewis should finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities of the U.S. I can use all the help I can get!” Trump wrote.

Trump raised the issue of inner cities during the campaign. In August, he compared the nation's inner cities to war zones, declaring during a campaign stop in Ohio, “The Democrats have failed completely in the inner cities."
“For those hurting the most, who have been failed and failed by their politicians, year after year, failure after failure, worse numbers after worse numbers, poverty, rejection, horrible education, no houses, no homes, no ownership, crime at levels that nobody has seen. You could go to war zones in countries that we’re fighting and it’s safer than living in some of our inner cities that are run by the Democrats," he said.

I hope Trump has learned a lesson from this. Attack back without attacking. There is a level of subtlty to this response that makes it a WIN.

Insult the enemy, knock them down a peg then build them back up. If he continues insulting , knock him back down again. No mistakes were made here. Trump wins always.
The truth always wins in the end, this guy has been, like the members of the congressional black caucus a collection of carfully chosen black representatives who are put in control of thier people. A go between to keep the black community status quo. If they get a bit loud just throw them some money and freebees.

As weve been saying here for ages, the proof is in the pudding. The inner cities prove the failure of Demwit policies, and that Lewis would make such inflammatory statements the week of the Inauguration reflects poorly on him, very poorly. His Rome has been burning for decades yet the POS still wants to play juvenile partisan politics.
He’s the one who should be ashamed. The Sixites were half a century ago. Today is reality and with a 72% illegitimacy rate (probably even higher in Lewis district), there are far more problems to deal with than petty politics. Lewis is failing to represent his politics after selling out to his white leftist masters.
