I think this is why he commuted the sentence of the man/lady manning so the media is could focus and talk about that while not highlighting someone like this terrorist mastermind.

This is what O does and the media is happy to deflect for him.

He can’t legally do that, though I guess that’s never stopped him before.

why was it necessary to give the President the pardon power in the Constitution?

Old prerogative of the king, who represented executive power in England. Our laws are pretty much based on English laws. Governors have pretty much the same power, but some states have curtailed their governors’ power of pardon.

I do not see the need for pardons despite this essay.

These terrorists suitcase-bombed the most important tavern in America, killing four innocent patrons and maiming others. Fraunces Tavern is were George Washington bid farewell to his officers in an emotion packed evening. It is where he turned down kingship the first time.

I saw a program about the FBI investigating and eventually catching some of them. I think one of the worst escaped to Cuba.

I believe they are among the most hard core terrorists anywhere. They need to be killed, no other way to permanently stop them.

I should add, that were George Washington the President today, he would have Bradley Manning and Beau Bergdahl shot at dawn. The terrorist would be hung.

George Washington would do it because that is the duty of the President in these situations, not because he wanted to or enjoyed it. How low we have fallen since our founding!

Obama gives lip service to fighting terrorists, but in his so-called heart, the terrorists are heroes.

“Fraunces Tavern is were George Washington bid farewell to his officers in an emotion packed evening. It is where he turned down kingship the first time.”

Interesting. And the guy that said “if it weren’t for only being able to do two terms, I would have been re-elected” frees the guy that bombed the place.
