I’m sorry to see so many vindictive remarks here, but very happy to see posts like yours.
I do not wish evil upon anyone, despite the often great temptation to do so. I wish for them repentence, genuine remorse, forgiveness. That’s not the same as a “get out of jail free” card.
For those who are suffering, I wish them recovery or a peaceful end after receiving full forgiveness from the Lord.
When we wish evil upon others, we become like them. (I may wish jail time and fines on those who deserve it, that’s not evil as I understand evil. A different issue altogether.)
