On the bright side, nobody shot the new POTUS or any member of his family, and he talked to troops deployed in Afghanistan. The snowflakes were mostly entertaining the way that village idiots can be, but I’d like to see them pull this s@#$ with marines or green berets. Really, I’d like to see it.
So I guess these Air Force members never did get through to the inauguration? There is no concluding statement. I was hoping to read that, eventually they went around the barrier and got in.
I hear this sort of foolishness went on during Bush’s second Inauguration also. I suppose Cops cannot be everywhere, and those hoodlums probably had a few knives or rocks, hoping to use them. Shameful.

Yes, it is scary that American voters can excuse this behavior from their party. You used to see small eruptions of this thug behavior from the Unions. Now, anything is fair game, if the democrats lose, so they tell themselves. The old saying “Check yourself before you wreck yourself!” comes to mind.
You know what may get this back under more control?
Quick and heavy prosecution, with very little media coverage.
Without the media making heroes or wannabeMartyrs of these Anarchists, the appeal of acting up may begin to wane.

I wonder if it is a Federal offense to inhibit the free movement of a member of the military in uniform. In my world, it would be 2 months in jail on a federal charge.
I hurt that the DC police stood-by and didn’t do anything at one of the major sites of the anarchists attack on buildings until they had already smashed a lot of very expensive windows.
One building maintenance person told me that some of the windows where the rioting took place cost up to $24,000 each.
Also, wearing a mask in the performance of a criminal act is a separate and chargeable crime. In DC, I have never heard of it being enforced.
Our Police Department has been poorly led for decades when it comes to communist and anarchist riots/crimes, and usually the PD gets sued for arresting the wrong people as reported in the Wash. When the commies and crazies can continue to get away with this shit, you know that their will not be justice for the average citizen, and you can thank the Democrat mayors for this (and Bloomturd, too.

Have there been other reports of attendees being blocked from access to the parade route? There had to be a reason for those empty stands!
