Not to mention that Obama’s ceremonies had cold temperatures but no rain. The forecast was for rain on Friday which I think more people would avoid than just cold.
1. Good point. My wife and I were set to go, but because of recent colds/bronchitis we watched it on TV.
2. Because of the threat of violence I didn’t want to take the chance of putting my wife in harm’s way. She has a bad foot and is not very mobile. I have inhaled enough CS/pepper spray in my life and that was also a factor.
3. Some good points latter on in this thread about the wisdom of even arguing this point. It is childish and amateurish, but unfortunately reflects the “reality TV” culture that influences so many.
