This should be as simple as making the declaration. The days of a dog lying in the manger, snarling at the horses so they could not feed, should be nearly over.

Beat it, dog.

...and his Day One promises? They are, overall, more important. Are they to occur today? Watching and waiting.

Can you spell "jobs"....

The Dems say it would mean maybe 4 or 5. Does that make sense??

My friend went to Alaska...I forgot how many years ago...and worked on the pipeline....Made a looooooot of money....cuz there was nothing to spend it on....except food and cigarettes.

Here is the info everyone needs to spread about the Dakota Access “water protectors”

The oil companies used to pay the Indians a ‘tax’ to drive across their lands shipping oil by truck.

The original oil pipeline would have crossed their lands, at a much cheaper shipping cost to the oil companies, and much more oil would flow.

But the Indians demanded they still receive the same amount of money (per barrel) as if that oil was shipped by truck.

This would have amounted to a huge increase in ‘tax’ payments to the Indians, since much more oil would flow through the pipeline.

The oil companies made a counter-offer, which the Indians rejected.

So they moved the oil pipeline line off the Indian land, increasing the cost to build it.

Then the Indians demanded THEY STILL GET PAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...or they would shut down construction

And here we are.

They first said it would disturb ancient burial ground, which turned out to be a lie. Then they said it was crossing Indian land without their permission. THAT turned out to be a lie.

So they settled on “water protectors” even thought there are many pipelines that already cross that river, and this one would be built even safer.

It is ALL ABOUT $$$ and nothing else.

If the oil companies were to offer them the money again they would take it and shut up- which would prove the point- it is about the money and not “protecting the water”

This also provides a platform on which to reject the NDP in Alberta and Trudeauism throughout Canada!

Buffet was the hold up on the Keystone and Dakota the entire time. He was funding Obama and Hitlery’s political careers and waned the pipeline shutdown in favor of his railroads.

Nothing but outright bribery. Buffet, Gates, Obama, Hillary, some congress critters, et al., all need to be prosecuted for this.

Trump has been a conservative dream come true. He is taking page out of the progressive handbook by overwhelming the opposition. The left doesn’t know what hit them.

Trump has done more in a few days than GW Bush did in 8 years.

The Obama legacy is evaporating quickly...

Not to nit-pick, but “putting a spoke, so to say, in the train wheels” is not exactly the metaphor. Usually it is in the form of “put a wrench in the spokes”, implying sabotage but sticking a strong, non-yielding item into the spokes of a rotating wheel, thereby jamming the works and causing a stoppage/crash.

Two interesting facts - (1) Train wheels usually are solid - no spokes. (2) “Sabotage” originally described the practice of workers in Nazi occupied low countries throwing their wooden shoes (”sabot”) into the machinery to cause stoppages (or so the story goes....).
