“the Dakota pipeline more recently became the subject of fierce protests until the Army Corps of Engineers in December blocked construction of a controversial segment.”

The Army Corps of Engineers (aka The Army Private Land Rapists) should be put out of the “environmental protection” business permanently.

The first person whose face came to my mind was that of Warren Buffet.

This man will be displeased as he owns rail based transport companies that move oil and gas interstate of which is holds a quasi-monopoly.

Look for him to start funding the environmentalist wackos for their usual protests.

I really don’t want to hear these things, “telegraphed”, so the protestors and other commie losers can get their SS out there (Soros Soldiers (SS) - yeah, just made that up, but I like it).

What will Warren Buffett do now?
His trains won’t be carrying oil once the pipelines are built.

Four years from now, the non-public-sector unions are NOT going to be able to keep the rank and file (and their families) on the Democrat plantation.

I think pipelines are generally good news for America.

First, they are less expensive. This is how producers choose to ship, when they are allowed to do so. (Freedom is a good thing.)

Secondly, they are an environmentally safer way to ship oil and gas. I care about the environment, even if “environmentalists” do not.

Third, oil and gas production provide several layers of economic benefit for the US and the world. There is no point producing oil and gas unless you can distribute it. By the way, I look forward to Trump providing the green light to exporting liquid natural gas oversees. They need the gas and we need the money.

Fourth, the only certain environmental effect of increased carbon dioxide in the air is that trees and other plants will breath more easily. More plant life means more animal life. More species will be protected.

...as Trump blasted his predecessor for effectively blocking the projects amid bogus environmental and other alleged concerns.

Now it's accurate.

I don’t think this is winning if Trudeau has blocked Keystone from the Canadian side
