Christie has capped the increases at 2%, which helps a bit; the municipal employees unions hate him because if they had their way we’d all be paying $15K per year.
Every year will set a record because 2% on top of the already-high taxes will always be a “new high”.
Christie has the support of homeowners because he tells it like it is; he simply can’t stop the exodus of Americans from the state because they know that most of their taxes (about 75% goes to local schools) is being wasted on foreigners and gibsmedats.
