There are people who worry about the Ozone layer, Acid rain, Global Warming/Cooling/Climate Change- but genetic tinkering actually worries me.
Not just toying around with cells, but there is also the Crispir Device. If you're not familiar with it, it is a process by which genomes may be simply edited. It is the stuff of horror movies. You can put this equipment in your garage, in fact here is a line from the business home page I just linked to--

It's no a matter of this stuff getting into the wrong hands, it's all over the world now. Who knows what has already been made. Scary, scary stuff.
