I think America is fed up with 90 million unemployed and will willing pay a 20% tariff. The upside is huge and prices won't stay up that long.

How long before avocado production ramps up in CA and AZ behind a built in 20% profit margin.

Once Uncle Sam gets addicted to the revenues tariffs bring in then they will become permanent. Which is a good thing in the long run.

There was a fire in Fallbrook CA (see I-15 Avocado Highway) about5-6 years ago. 20,000 Avo trees destroy. many not replaced because water pries went up with the drought. Now we have rain but still not totally restored in soCal. This area could produce much more avocados and citrus if it was profitable. Most of what is grown in Mexico can be grown in soCal, especially Imperial Valley and the big valley.
