Trust me Ann, the media know her identity.
They will publish words that say the illegal recordings were submitted They use those precise words to imply that there was not one sole news organization complicit so they cannot be nailed down, and to imply that they didn't know who was she was so that they can protect her.
But they know who she is.
If she used fake ID, lied to the PA cops, lied to the Secret Service (who of course were there), and broke the PA Wiretapping and Surveillance law, and the media knew these things, then yes, I believe the media is complicit in a crime.
But, good luck prosecuting the media. They have been playing this cat and mouse game for 100 years, and getting away with it (mostly). There is always a friendly judge, a friendly venue, and cowardly district attorneys that won't do their jobs. There have been reporters jailed however for defying certain judges who have integrity.
