Good!

Now there’s a place for those Syrians to go.

Can the ones outside Syria be sent back?.

The Heat Death of the Universe will occur before the LSM EVER questions anything Obastard did.

I was actually going to suggest that exact time-frame!

Great minds think alike. :)

Assad must be for it so it follows that Putin is for it. And Putin and Trump have been talking on the phone from the Oval Office.

ISIS is causing terror in Iraq and Syria. This is what is driving the Syrian refugee wave. Trump has always since the campaign trail said that he would seek Russia as an Ally and would press the Saudis to pay for the safe zones for Syrians fleeing ISIS.

This stops the Syrian refugee flow, allows the US and Russia to focus on destroying ISIS. Once ISIS is gone. Syrians and Iraqis can return to their homes.

It simply makes too much sense! Who would have thought people with good sense would appear to handle this the way it needs to be handled? Obama with Clinton as SecState couldn’t get squat done in 8 years and President Trump gets a fix on the solution in his 2nd week. Seems unbelievable!

Russia and Iran, keep your friends close, enemies closer, and your Muslim enemies closest. I think that between Syria and Iran there is a balance of power. If Iran gets too cocky, Putin sics Syria on them. If Syria gets to cocky, Putin takes em down and lets Iran have the Muzzies. Iran would love to be secular, IMO the people see themselves as a progressive nation, and a different people than Iraq, the Sauds etc.

Putin has thrown in with Iran for some inexplicable reasons.

Because they are an anti-western regional power and they share aims in Syria. What more explanation do you seek?

One win at a time. Right NOW, we don’t won’t radicalized or near radicalized Muslims coming into the US. This keeps them over there.

“Putin has thrown in with Iran for some inexplicable reasons.”

Border. Iran gives Russia a cushion as well as anything that is going to go to Russia via pipeline, it’s better going through a friendly Iran.

Trump, during his presidential campaign last year, had called for Gulf states to pay for establishing safe zones to protect Syrian refugees.

President Trump going through with his campaign ideas that he talked to us in his rallies about...

That would go far towards undercutting the protesting and faux outrage - let the air right out of it.

This type of fear should also get them to stop sponsoring terrorism, and that fear must also be extended to Pakistan and Iran, to fall in line. Or else.

If McCain and Graham are similarly restrained, Trump would have gone a long way in delivering an Islamic Terror-free world. Of course, other western counties will stand in his way, Canada and Germany notably.

“And anyone who can explain the Syria - Iran Love Affair is welcome to educate us all.”

Balance of power. Syria has been run by a Syrian Baathist fascist party since Hafez El Assad took over in the 1970s.

Saddam’s Iraq was also run by a rival Iraqi Baathist fascist party after Saddam took over in the 1970s.

The two were bitter rivals, hence “the enemy of my enemy” (Iran) is my friend.

To counter Sunni Islam. That is the big Syria Iran connection. As far as Russia and Iran its trade. Weapons, nuclear reactors and who knows what plus a dash of mutual self interests. With Russia supporting an autonomous Kurd portion of Syria I’m not sure how long they will be friends with Iran.
