Republican Senator Dean Hellar Speaks Out On Trump's Ban
Twitter ^ | January 30, 2017 | Pinkbell

Posted on 01/30/2017 3:17:33 AM PST by Pinkbell

Earlier, I posted a list of 20 Republicans including Congressmen and Senators opposed to Trump's ban. A lot of the usual suspects of course. I haven't heard of this Senator before, but I thought I would post what he said.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3518993/posts

He said this in a series of 4 Tweets which I'm just going to put together as one statement:

"I share the President's desire to protect our nation from harm. I agree that better vetting and border protection measures are necessary. That's why I support the thorough vetting of individuals entering our country. However, I am deeply troubled by the appearance of a religious ban. The use of a overly broad executive order is not the way to strengthen national security. I encourage the Administration to partner with Congress to find a solution."

I am deeply troubled that he says this has the "appearance" of a religious ban when over 40 Muslim majority countries plus Muslims from other countries are not affected.

Libs angry in the comments to his Tweets because he waited too long to say that. They are saying he must do something to stop Trump.

It's not a religious ban. It's a political ideology posing as a religion that is extremely dangerous and promotes Christian genocide you dolt...

What an idiot! Doesn’t he know what happened tp Ayott in NH + the other race in his own state. We may have to talk that taco eater in the Governors office into running. Probably won’t.

You can always tell which senators receive donations from CAIR and IAPAC (Iranian American PAC) by their political stances. Another one outed obviously.

Traitor ####s.

What matters is what the voters wanted. They wanted what Trump is doing.

We can do our part. If we ever see a Trump supporter getting attacked and injured, we can make the attacker three times as injured so he doesn’t do it again.

Let him chew on it in the hospital.

Ripping down the fences of these 20 republicans isn’t a bad idea either.

Picking up illegals (everyone knows where they are) and dropping off dozens in front of their houses to move in would be nice too.

If you are following the tweets, did you twitter anything to counteract/ridicule this idiot’s obvious lack of facts?

Like, “Isn’t it odd how Trump forgot to include the largest Muslim countries in his supposed ban on Muslims?”

“Trump is so incompetent that when he tried to ban Muslims, he forgot to even mention the word ‘Muslim’!”

“Obama came up with the list of countries—why not get mad at him for ‘banning’ Muslims?”

“If Trump really wanted to ban all Muslims from the US, he could have saved a lot of time by saying so in his EO, instead of naming seven different countries.”

And so on. We have to fight fire with fire here. The left spreads disinformation; we must work to make that tactic ineffective.

Donald Trump shouldn't back down on this. Despite the noise from the media, liberals on Twitter, elite global politicians, etc., I guarantee you the average American voter is with Trump on this.

1. It is NOT a “Muslim ban.

2. The order is based on security reviews conducted by President Barack Obama’s deputies.

3. The moratorium is largely temporary.

4. Obama banned immigration from Iraq, and Carter banned it from Iran.

5. Trump’s refugee caps are comparable to Obama’s pre-2016 practices.

6. The Executive Order is legal.

7. This Executive Order is a security measure, not an arbitrary expression of supposed xenophobia.

Here is how it is supposed to work - the departing and arriving country must each be able to properly verify individuals as being who they say they are. Our end of the bargain works just fine. These six nations, on the other hand, have repeatedly demonstrated an inability to properly verify the identification of the individuals departing for our nation.

If it were a muslim ban would not Saudi Arabia and Egypt also be on the list? But they aren’t because they have demonstrated to our approval an ability to properly identify their citizens departing to our nation.

THAT is what this all boils down to.

Too many of the GOP are afraid to take incoming fire from Trump. Unfortunately, he is saddled with these sickening GOP Senators.

COWARDS!!!

It is not a religious ban period. There is no ban on 46 predominantly Muslim countries.

I went too his page and asked him just that. I asked if CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood had threatened to withhold funding for his re election.

I'm sure the response you'll receive will be ...lol Trump needs to have his congressional investigators look at all the donor lists on HOR and senators and note which ones received donations from any foreign enemies and get them removed by any legal means necessary because they are compromised and unable to make unbiased decisions that are good for the security of U.S. citizens. Our founding fathers would be ashamed of the current members of Congress I'm sure.

Tru.p didn’t pick the countries. Obama did. A billion Muslims are eligible to apply for visas. How is that a ban on muslims?

Heller I understand is a Mormon. He didn’t support Trump for President at any point in the campaign.

I worked for Trump in Nevada. Heller didn’t show up for the Gop conventions in Reno or Vegas. Like Sandoval and Heck he was a never Trumper. So the state went from having both State houses in GOP control to now having them go Democrat.

Heck lost because Trump people gave him no support in return.

Heller NO. We need to have rallys at his office for Trump.

One half of the students in CCSD are illegals. Heller doesn’t give a Heller about that.

The US was attacked barely 8 months into Bush’s Presidency. Trump is not about to last that happen on his watch, naysayers be damned.

Rest assured there is troubling intel driving Trump’s quick action barring arrivals from countries of “concern.”
