You beat me to it. Where the hell did they get the idea that Charles Koch founded the Tea Party?

Free and open societies are destroyed from within. Only the elitists flourish.

"TEA Party founder?"

yeah, that was my question.

Besides, I thought the Kock brothers were rightwing extremists, etc, etc.

The msm is twisting itself in knots (nots?) again.

Frankly, I’m so tired of these people popping up out of the woodwork and glomming onto a sentiment that isn’t described by some formal “Tea Party” group. There are MANY, and there are good and bad. Most all of them beg for money and I don’t see much ‘sentiment’ return on those dollars. One of my own opinions about Tea Party Patriots originally out of Georgia doesn’t pass my smell test. IMO, it and its co-founder stink to high heaven.

I give money to candidates, period.....I don’t give it to some potential fly-by-night huckster glom-on trying to make a buck out of the new fad.

Oh yeah. This is the new tactic. Liberal led “conservative” groups condemning Trump.

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t remember Koch being present at the first TEA Party national convention at Opryland Hotel in the Winter of 2010. I do remember seeing Andrew Breitbart speak, and speaking with him hanging out in one of the atrium cafes after his talk. And seeing Sarah Palin, Tom Tancredo, and many others speak at the event.
