Problem is that the uniparty has a death grip on the state and county political apparatus of both parties. Conservatives in both parties will have to find and run their own candidates w/o the dubious assistance of party apparatchiks, who will be doing their level best to put the kibosh on any grass roots efforts.

Conservatives should put up two candidates against useless incumbents: one for the primary, and one as an independent in the general election. Then if the conservative wins the primary, the independent withdraws in the fall race.
