This is true. There were more than a few verified reports that the paid agitators in Ferguson DIDN’T get paid.

Payment to the protestors can come in different forms from
actual money to, housing, transportation, food, etc.
To be sure, some few among their number would be doing this for free, but that only applies to the relatively small number of “trust fund babies” who do not rely on income from a third party.
Most of the “idealistic” youngsters in the crowd have no such resources, and the winter cold shall take the toll on many of them. Therefore, there has to be SOMEBODY paying a stipend for them to face the rigors they would not put up with for ten minutes in their own parents’ homes.
Life is hard enough without complicating it with stupidity.

They are NOT Contractors! All these Advocacy groups are DIRECTING THEM. That means they are Regular Employees and these groups need to be Arrested for Payroll Tax Fraud.

Excellent idea, and let's take it a couple of steps further, demand withholding, and complete paperwork plus petition President Trump to order the IRS to do the same, Federally, Then prosecute any that fail to comply, both employer and employee.
Then investigate the money trail using IRS and Treasury, and any Foreign employers that are not registered as foreign Agents are also prosecuted and funds confiscated.
