We don't know if our boys shot the girl or if was intentional by the targets. The point of the raid was to capture someone, they haven't stated or said if they captured anyone from what I've seen. I doubt they would have put our boys in harms way to just to kill some dudes, when you can simply drop a bomb instead.

They recovered laptops and other stuff relating to other terrorist groups and plans. I think the attack was primarily for that reason. I’m guessing that if everybody just quietly surrendered they would have been taken alive.

I know if someone breaks down my door at 2:30am, my first instinct would not be to raise my hands.
