Good points, but in a fair Democratic primary, I suspect that Sanders did more than just give her a scare. That primary was rigged for Clinton, and I suspect she probably would have lost to Sanders without her superdelegate support and media allies.
In addition, Bernie didn't get near the coverage he should've gotten as the media was trying to minimize and marginalized him--of course they were forced to give him some attention eventually due to the massive groundswell and crowds he was getting; "BernieBros", "Berniebots" and "BernieOrBusters" were portrayed as sexist and/or losers; Bernie would be shown in unflattering photos whereas the media chose flattering pics of Hillary...this just off the top of my head as I know I'm overlooking some other stuff.
Anyhow, even though I was happy Hillary got the nomination, it would've been fascinating to have had a Trump-Sanders race. Bernie would've been an opponent worthy of Trump; they were the counterparts of each other on the left and right. Some people think that Trump would've trounced Bernie but I'm not confident about that at all, which is why it's good Hillary was our opponent.
