Many Progressive churches have done this for years but because they promoted liberal causes and candidates, there were few objections. Conservative churches caught hell if there was a hint of mixing politics and religion.

I remember seeing a lot of Gore yarmulkes in synagogues. I don’t remember any left leaning clergy holding their breath on politics.
I do think we need some definition on what is protected and what isn’t. Some Christian places of worship (thinking of cardinal Mahoney’ illegals) and some Muslim harbor criminals. I’m not ok with that.

It’s not as if many churches - both liberal and conservative - haven’t been actively involved in politics for decades. Getting away with the law might eliminate the hypocrisy and double-standards and deviousness.

We watched the Prayer Breakfast.
The more I see and hear President Trump the better I like him.
He goes off on a tangent sometimes, toots his own horn but that aside we have a real get the job done President.
